Penelope crossroads

Like everyone else, Penelope faces many crossroads.
Hers are not easy. She is the wife of Odysseus, king of Ithaca. We have been shown that her duty was to look after the kingdom while he was away. Her duty was to be a good wife, even though many men wanted her.
But is that her real crossroads? I think her crossroads are much more personal and deeper. And it has to do with her desires, her aspirations, her illusions and her dreams. Not those that others have placed upon her.
