I came to quilting late in life after a career in international business which emphasized technology, analysis, writing and speaking. Making art is a thrilling, personal evolution for me as I develop new skills and discover the joy of visual creation. A favorite source of inspiration is water: the beach, river, wildlife and how water reflects the changing weather and seasons. I often use paint and thread to create whole cloth art quilts but experimentation and expanding my artistic boundaries are the fundamental components of each work.
