Martha Wolfe

Martha Wolfe is an award-winning fiber artist and founding member of the international group, Viewpoints 9. Her work has been exhibited in juried exhibitions around the world, published in magazines and books and is held in public and private collections. She is inspired by her experience as a marine toxicologist, and a love of travel and nature. Starting from her photographs, she interprets the natural and man-made world in a graphic, representational style. Birds, bicycles, and fish are frequently celebrated in her artwork. 

She is currently an artist member of The Artery, an Artists’ Cooperative in Davis, California and serves as a Board Member and Secretary of the Social Justice Sewing Academy (SJSA).
