Squiggly Things in the Sea
what would we do without Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel? A German naturalist, artist, and all around wonderman, his drawings (which are in the public domain) have inspired countless artists. I've used the left hand side of this drawing - it's a siphonophore cross section) numerous times in various works, and will use the other half as a basis for the design of the next V9 piece. Stay tuned!

Resilience
This is my 1st piece in the chosen theme "Resilience". Part of a series of 6 panels construction it is the smallest one as it speaks of how vegetation covered our planet millions of years ago. The whole series will tell the story about how resilient our planet is.

New Work Kicks Off - by Lin Hsin-Chen
This is my design drawing for my second work. Is the preparation process of hand-stitching more complicated? I must be concentrated and focused, otherwise I won't be able to complete the work. I want to use the two pieces of fabric dyed by my daughter in this work! I am looking forward to the result of combining the dyed fabrics in my work!
