Inner Eye
Following an ophthalmologist's suggestion, I looked into the vascular structures of the human eye for inspiration. Specifically, I re drew and abstracted the choroidal vascular system and used it as the basis for my first piece of this cycle. I had the image printed professionally on cotton sateen, and then added layers of hand and machine cut non wovens to complete the design. Inner Eye, 10x40"

Dairy routine
Dairy routine is my theme for for our cycle 7 “ A New World” In this challenge, I try to express a lot of things and thoughts that I see and feel in my daily life. As I get older, I feel the importance of everyday life. I'm going to look back on my work and try to use a lot of the pieces left behind.

Climate change comes to mind first, and the need to be serious about working towards a zero-fossil fuel energy use. And also, vaccination must be extended to everybody in the world. W
