Leaving the nest...

As I'm going into the Possibilities challenge, I can't help thinking about the pending departure of my youngest son as he heads off to college this September. Possibilities, indeed!

All the years that have passed since I first looked upon that tiny little person and imagined what his life might be like, what the world might be like when he grew up.

My children have been very fortunate to live in a world with many possibilities. I cannot wait to see where life takes him.

....and what the possibilities will be for me with an empty nest for the first time in 40 years!
