How could I represent the intangible emotion of joy? This was the question I was presented with in the second quilt of the Integration series.
Joy should be a part of each day for us. The joy of the sunrise, a morning walk, the first coffee, talking to our loved ones, so many things can spark joy.
I have chosen the colour purple to represent my joy.
Materials: cotton, textile ink, fabric dye, batting, various threads
Techniques: hand painted and printed, machine pieced, machine quilted
