Sea Change

A new world living by the sea opened up to us in 2020. It was a time to embrace a new, ever changing seascape and become more familiar with our new surrounds. I discovered that I could get good results from beach dyeing, using the sand and other debris I found on the shoreline. Sue Dennis, Australia

Materials: commercial cotton and artist’s dyed cotton fabric, batting, threads

Techniques: hand dyed, machine pieced and quilted
