Inner Eye

Following an ophthalmologist's suggestion, I looked into the vascular structures of the human eye for inspiration.

Specifically, I re drew and abstracted the choroidal vascular system and used it as the basis for my first piece of this cycle.

I had the image printed professionally on cotton sateen, and then added layers of hand and machine cut non wovens to complete the design.
