The Wisdom of Learning

The Ithaka poem stresses the importance of learning from scholars over many years, so on arrival you will be wealthy with the knowledge you have acquired on your journey.

I agree with that feeling. Learning from other teachers and artists on your creative journey is an important part of it. But there is more to it; there are experiences you can only develop by yourself through simply living, thinking, and doing.
