Hello, I am Mary Mattimoe.

I am here as a guest artist for Alicia Merrett.

Where are we going?

Driving Thoughts, 36" by 24"

Cotton, Acrylic

I painted the background texture, free quilted my beloved Suffolk County countryside, then, painted an overlay with the delightful gold.

I drive past the five trees often and think of them as my own personal Greek choir.

Oh, shiny circles!
